How to Use
For best results, temper the icing to room temperature before use. Gently knead the paste using the heels of both hands to warm it and improve elasticity and pliability. Roll out the ready-to-roll icing on a non-stick surface, lightly dusted with icing sugar (avoid excess to prevent drying or cracking). Never roll out cold icing. Gently lift the rolled-out layer and position it carefully on your prepared cake. Smooth and shape the icing on the top and sides until it feels silky, then trim any excess flush with the base using a sharp knife.
Tip for Modelling: Add Tylo Powder (1 tsp per 250g) to create a modelling paste that sets firm, or mix 50/50 with Renshaw Flower & Modelling Paste for a pliable paste with a softer set.
