Pull Up the Roots: The Berlin & Hotel Session is an intimate recording by blues and soul band The Boneshakers, for listeners drawn to raw performances and acoustic arrangements. Across six tracks, the band brings together originals and reinterpretations.

Fronted by Jenny Langer, with Randy Jacobs on guitar, the group blends blues, rock & roll swagger, Detroit soul and New Orleans groove. The performances capture the band’s chemistry and spontaneous musicianship, with production by Jacobs, Langer and John Wooler.

Recorded primarily at Kaleidoscope Studios in Berlin, the sessions also continued in US studios and hotel rooms between shows. Collaborators include Holly Montgomery, Arthur Thompson, Joe Sublett, Mark Pender, Jon Gilutin and Oliver Leiber.
